OHIO: Police: 1 dead, 1 hospitalized after shooting at Fairfield Township Walmart
Crews were called to the Walmart in Fairfield Township where two people were shot.
One victim has died. The other was taken to the hospital and is reportedly in critical condition.
Employees told Local 12 the person in the hospital is a store greeter, and that the person who died was a
customer who was trying to stop a shoplifter.
Police haven’t released the names of either victim at this time.
They say they tracked the suspect’s vehicle, but when they found it there was only a passenger inside.
Authorities say they have not yet verified the name of the suspect.
