One Dead, One Injured in Shooting at Pasadena Restaurant — Suspect at Large

PASADENA, Texas — A deadly shooting inside Bubba’s 33 restaurant on Beltway 8 Friday night has left one person dead and another injured, according to Pasadena police.

Authorities say the suspect opened fire inside the restaurant, fatally shooting one individual and injuring a restaurant employee who was struck by a stray bullet. The employee was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses inside the restaurant reportedly attempted to stop the suspect but were unable to detain him before he fled the scene in a vehicle.

Investigators believe the shooter and the deceased victim knew each other. Police have confirmed there is no ongoing threat to the public as the search for the suspect continues.
