UPDATE: At least 4 people killed and 1 injured after shooting at Las Vegas apartment building

Four people were killed and another wounded in a shooting this morning in the far northwest valley, according to Metro Police.

The incident was reported about 10 a.m. in the 7500 block of Oso Blanca Road, a commercial area near U.S. 95 and Durango Drive, police said.

Five people were found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, police said. The surviving victim was taken to University Medical Center, police said.

No additional details were immediately released, and police said the investigation was ongoing.

Police advised people to avoid the area.
