Four Armed Suspects Target Luxury Vehicle in Astoria

Police are investigating a Queens Rolls Royce carjacking after four armed, masked men stole a 34-year-old man’s luxury vehicle in Astoria early Friday morning.

According to authorities, the victim was driving past 31st Street and 35th Avenue at around 5:30 a.m. when he noticed a black Dodge Durango tailing him. The SUV forced him to pull over before four masked suspects jumped out and surrounded his car.

Suspects Flee With the Stolen Rolls Royce

All four suspects reportedly pulled guns on the victim, ordering him to exit his Rolls Royce. Two of the gunmen then jumped into the vehicle and sped off, while the others followed in the Dodge Durango getaway car.

No injuries were reported, and police have not yet disclosed which Rolls Royce model was stolen.

Victim Avoids Shootout

The victim, who is a licensed gun owner, had a firearm on him at the time of the incident but told officers he chose not to engage the robbers to avoid a potential shootout.

NYPD Investigation Underway

The NYPD is actively searching for the Rolls Royce thieves and reviewing nearby surveillance footage to track the suspects’ movements.
