PULASKI COUNTY, Va.: A man escaped from jail today

PULASKI COUNTY, Va.: A ln inmate is back in jail after a short escape on Saturday, officials said.

According to the New River Valley Regional Jail, a man named Robert Dustin Radford slipped out of a door to let vehicles out of a secured area of the jail. He was waiting to be processed, officials said.

He was pursued by jail officers into the forest behind Camrett Logistics, where they lost contact with him. The jail said they notified th ePulaski Sheriff’s Office of the escape, and a perimeter was set up with the help of Animal Control.
