New Jersey Declares State of Emergency Ahead of Nor’easter

Acting Governor Tahesha Way declared a State of Emergency starting 10:00 p.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, as a dangerous nor’easter is expected to hit Sunday and continue into Monday.
The storm may bring major coastal flooding, inland flash floods, winds up to 60 mph, up to five inches of rain, and high surf causing beach erosion and dune damage across all 21 counties.
