Neil Sedaka, legendary singer-songwriter, dies at 86

Neil Sedaka, the legendary singer-songwriter known for classics including “Breaking Up Is Hard to Do,” “Bad Blood,” and “Love Will Keep Us Together,” has died at the age of 86, according to Variety.
Sedaka achieved major chart success in the early 1960s and again in the mid-1970s, earning three No. 1 hits on the Billboard charts and nine Top 10 singles over his career.
Beyond his own recordings, Sedaka wrote songs for some of the biggest names in music, including Connie Francis, Captain and Tennille, Frank Sinatra, and Elvis Presley.
He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1983 and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1978, cementing his legacy as one of pop music’s enduring hitmakers.
