Elon Musk Urges Trump to Release the Epstein Files as Promised

July 13, 2025: Tech billionaire Elon Musk has called on former President Donald Trump to fulfill a long-standing promise and release the full files related to Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted sex offender with alleged ties to powerful figures around the world.

Musk made the statement on social media, writing:

“Trump should release the Epstein files as promised. The public deserves the truth.”

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has previously expressed skepticism about the lack of transparency surrounding Epstein’s connections and death in 2019 while in federal custody.

Although Trump has occasionally hinted at releasing more information tied to Epstein and his alleged network, no comprehensive files have been made public.

The renewed push by Musk adds pressure as calls for full disclosure on Epstein’s contacts and operations continue to mount across the political spectrum.

As of now, Trump has not responded publicly to Musk’s remarks.
