David Rose: DeKalb County Police identified the officer who died as 33-year-old

“David Rose, 33, a father of two with a third on the way, was the DeKalb County police officer killed while responding to reports of a shooter in Atlanta today, the police department said.

He had been with the police department since September. DeKalb County said he joined the police academy at that time and graduated in March.”
