Cleveland Browns Rookie RB Quinshon Judkins Arrested in Florida on Battery, Domestic Violence Charges

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — July 12, 2025: Cleveland Browns rookie running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested in Florida on battery and domestic violence charges, according to reports from Pro Football Talk and ESPN Cleveland.

The incident occurred in Fort Lauderdale, where Judkins was taken into custody. Details surrounding the case remain limited, but authorities have confirmed that the charge involves a “touch or strike/battery/domestic violence” offense.

Judkins, who was selected in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft, is considered a key piece in the Browns’ future backfield plans. However, he is the only rookie on the team who has not yet signed his contract, reportedly due to negotiations over guaranteed money.

The Cleveland Browns issued a brief statement, saying they are “aware of the situation and gathering more information.”

Judkins was a standout college player, first at Ole Miss and then at Ohio State, where he played a pivotal role in their national championship run earlier this year.

No further comment has been made by the player’s representatives. The NFL could take action under its Personal Conduct Policy, regardless of contract status.

This is a developing story.
