One person killed after shooting in southeast Albuquerque

A homicide investigation is underway after a person was shot and killed Sunday in southeast Albuquerque.

A spokesman for APD says the incident took place just before 9 a.m. at a home near Broadway Boulevard S.E. and Sunport Boulevard. Officers would find a person who had suffered a gunshot wound, but first responders were not able to save the victim.
