Video: Multiple stabbed on I-495 in Annandale; suspect shot by Virginia State Police

Video from Annandale, Virginia shows a heavy law enforcement response after multiple people were stabbed on the Outer Loop of Interstate 495 near Little River Turnpike.

Authorities report at least four victims, with two listed in critical condition. Virginia State Police said a suspect was shot after officers opened fire during the confrontation.

The stabbing reportedly occurred following a crash on the Capital Beltway. The suspect was described as actively attacking individuals before police intervened.

The Beltway was temporarily shut down as Virginia State Police and Fairfax County Police secured the scene and assisted victims. Traffic disruptions were significant in the area.

Officials have not yet released the identities of those involved. The investigation remains ongoing.
