Akon Arrested in Georgia Over Suspended License: Mugshot Released

Singer and producer Akon was arrested in DeKalb County, Georgia, on November 7 after police discovered he was driving with a suspended license.
Authorities say the arrest stemmed from an earlier September incident involving a Cybertruck breakdown, when officers discovered the license issue while assisting him on the roadside.
Akon, whose real name is Aliaune Thiam, was taken into custody and booked before being released the same day. The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office later released his mugshot, confirming the arrest.
No additional charges were reported, and Akon has not yet commented publicly on the situation.
