Poland activates military aviation after Russian strikes on Ukraine

Polish authorities activated military aviation within national airspace as a precautionary measure after Russian forces carried out strikes on targets in Ukraine.

At the same time, the Government Security Centre issued an RCB alert to residents of the Lublin Voivodeship, informing them that the situation was being closely monitored.

Authorities said developments remain under continuous observation and that the measures were precautionary.

There were no immediate reports of a direct threat to Polish territory.
