Bloomsburg Fair to offer free vaccines amid measles outbreak

Free vaccines will be offered at the Bloomsburg Fair in response to a nationwide measles outbreak.

Four measles-related deaths and more than 760 cases have been recorded in Pennsylvania so far this year, according to the state Department of Health.

The Department of Health will provide the MMR vaccine beginning Saturday, which is the first full day of the fair, and continue through the last day, Oct. 3.

The clinic will not be open for Friday’s preview night.
