Vehicle fire closes portion of I-84 in Hartford, Connecticut

Part of Interstate 84 eastbound is closed in Hartford because of a vehicle fire.

Fire response and evacuations

The state Department of Transportation said the highway is closed between exits 44 and 46. It was first reported around 12:50 p.m. on Monday.
