A shooting in Fort Worth, Texas leaves 2 dead

An overnight shooting left 2 people dead and 2 others injured in north Texas.

Police responded to a Fort Worth residence just after 3:30 a.m. where a large backyard gathering was taking place.

Officials said a fight had broken out between a man and woman. When another man tried to intervene firearms were produced and shots fired.

A total of four people were shot. Official said two people were pronounced dead at the scene. Two other people were taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds.
