Suspect in Cash Street shooting arrested in New Bedford, Massachusetts
A suspect in a shooting on Cash Street in Fall River was arrested in New Bedford on Friday after a search, according to Fall River Police.
The FRPD said that they received a tip that 18-year-old Bruno Darosa, one of the suspects in the shooting, had been observed by New Bedford Police entering a house on Coffin Avenue.
Officers reportedly obtained a search warrant and entered the residence. Reportedly, multiple people in the house attempted to hide from police, and one gun was found discarded inside a toilet. Officers eventually located Darosa in the attic of the house.
He was hospitalized and taken into custody. Darosa is facing charges including carrying a firearm without a license, credit card larceny and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building.
