Air Ambulance Lands on Manchester Northern Quarter Car Park as Street Cordoned Off

A large emergency response was reported in Manchester city centre’s Northern Quarter on Saturday evening after an air ambulance landed on the roof of a multi-storey car park.

Part of Turner Street, near the Abel Heywood pub, was cordoned off as police and ambulance crews attended the scene.

Images from the area showed several emergency vehicles around the car park while the air ambulance remained on the top floor.

Authorities had not yet released details about the nature of the incident or whether anyone had been seriously injured.
