Upstate woman sentenced in cocaine, meth trafficking investigation
A Greenville, South Carolina, woman was sentenced to 25 years in prison for drug trafficking, according to officials.
Arrest and charges
The 13th Circuit Solicitor's Office reported that 55-year-old Crystal Kay Sarratt was convicted of trafficking cocaine and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute on Thursday.
Evidence presented at trial showed that the Greenville County Sheriff's Office conducted a search at Sarratt's home where they uncovered a significant amount of meth, cocaine, and items that indicated drug distribution, including scales, bags containing drug residue, and other paraphernalia.
Sarratt was sentenced to 25 years in prison and was ordered to pay a fine of $100,000.
