Washington County deputies fear more victims after man arrested in rape

Deputies in Washington County say they are concerned there may be more victims after arresting a 19-year-old man accused of raping a woman he met on social media.

Arrest and charges

In July, a woman reported that she had been sexually assaulted by Jullian Pioquinto Manuel Govea, of Portland.

Investigators say Govea assaulted the woman a few weeks after meeting her on social media.

After executing several search warrants, deputies said they developed probable cause to arrest Govea. Govea was arrested on Sept. 10 in Portland.

Charges and court proceedings

He was taken to the Washington County Jail where he faces several charges, including first-degree rape and first-degree sexual assault.
