Man stabbed on Lake Avenue in Rochester, New York

Police are searching for suspects after a stabbing on the city's northwest side Friday afternoon.

Officers responded to the 800 block of Lake Avenue around 5:10 p.m. and found the victim, an adult man, with at least one stab wound to his upper body, police said.

He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No arrests have been announced. The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or Crime Stoppers at (585) 423-9300.
