Man, woman arrested for child abuse; other charges include attempted murder, strangulation

A man and woman in Gallatin County were arrested on charges of child abuse and other violent allegations after the local school district made a report.
The sheriff's office said it received a report of possible child abuse from Gallatin County Schools on Aug. 28. Two deputies were then sent to a residence to check on two children.
While investigating, deputies arrested 23-year-old Kyle Reynold of Glencoe and charged him with criminal abuse of a child and endangerment, as well as assault, strangulation and attempted murder. He is currently being held in the Grant County Detention Center.
Investigators also identified 29-year-old Phyllis Culp, also of Glencoe, in the case and arrested her on Sept. 2. She's also charged with child abuse and endangerment, as well as complicity in strangulation and assault.
