A woman has been arrested in Illinois in connection with the deadly 2023 shooting of a man in Cheviot, according to officers.

Cheviot police say Tamika Steele, 44, has been arrested in connection to the Nov. 2023 shooting death of Damien Canady. She was taken into custody on Sept.

10 in Joliet, Illinois. Friday, police say Steele was extradited to Ohio to face charges in Hamilton County.
