Town in mourning after Burry Port ‘community champion’ dies in plane crash

Burry Port Town Band said it was "deeply saddened" to hear of Mr Davies' sudden death.

"Owain and his father Spencer, who own Amcanu, have been among our greatest supporters for many years," they wrote.

"We will always be incredibly grateful for their unwavering support, generosity, and kindness towards us."

The Burry Port Harbour User Association also penned its own tribute to Mr Davies, describing him as "much more than a successful businessman".
