FedEx Flight FX4 Declares Emergency, Diverts to Paris Charles de Gaulle

A FedEx flight traveling from Memphis to Cologne declared an emergency and diverted toward Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport on Thursday.
Flight FX4, operated by FedEx Express, activated squawk code 7700, the international transponder code used to signal a general aviation emergency.
Flight-tracking data showed the aircraft changing course while over Europe and heading toward Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) instead of continuing to its scheduled destination in Cologne, Germany.
The reason for the emergency was not immediately known.
