Woman, 71, charged with manslaughter in Tiger Lane shooting death

A 71-year-old woman was arrested on a manslaughter charge after a man's shooting death in the 3500 block of Tiger Lane on Sept.

15, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting at 10:41 p.m. and found a deceased man, an online post by the department said.

Muriel Stewart was detained on scene and transported to the main police station for interviewing. Robbery/Homicide detectives were called out to assist.
