Louisiana monster accused of slaughtering family of four — as boy ran for help after he was stabbed

A Louisiana monster has been charged with slaughtering a family of four during his alleged stabbing spree that left a 6-year-old fighting for his life, but not before the child heroically ran for help while wounded.
Kaegan Jude Solet, 47, was arrested for the deadly rampage in Houma, La., Saturday evening, after he was released from the hospital Tuesday, the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office said.
Solet, 47, is accused of killing Verna Mae Verdin, her children Letha Verret and Paul Verret, and Paul’s partner Krissy Lynn Parfait at a home on the 200 block of Ashland Drive, 63 miles outside of New Orleans in the heart of bayou country, relative Brandon Thiel said on a GoFundMe.
The suspected killer was known to the victims, as he fathered one of their children, Thiel told WVUE. Terrebonne police captured Solet around 10:30 a.m.
