SBA disaster loans available for Pleasants County tornado damage

SBA disaster loans

The U.S. Small Business Administration is offering disaster loans to help cover damage left by tornadoes that tore through Pleasants County this summer.

SBA Public Affairs Specialist Lane Davis said the loans fall into different categories, depending on who is applying and what kind of loss they have suffered.

“An economic injury disaster loan is for businesses and nonprofits.

So if any business has sustained economic loss, whether it be a loss in revenue, loss in inventory, working capital, things like that, they can apply for this loan and may be approved up to $2 million to recover those financial losses,” Davis said.
