Man Sentenced to 17 Years for Shooting Victim in Head at 8th Avenue Recording Studio

A Brooklyn man has been sentenced to 17 years in state prison for shooting a 26-year-old man in the head inside an 8th Avenue recording studio in March 2024, leaving the victim permanently paralyzed on the left side of his body.
Zykil Adamson, 26, was sentenced Tuesday to 17 years in prison followed by five years of post-release supervision, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announced.
