24-year-old man hospitalized after Monday night shooting

CHAMPAIGN — Police are seeking information and video footage after a Monday night shooting in the Country Fair area left a man injured.

The victim, a 24-year-old man, remains hospitalized in "serious but stable condition," Champaign police said.

As of Tuesday morning, no arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation.

Officers were sent to the 2500 block of West Springfield Avenue at 6:25 p.m. after receiving multiple reports of a shooting with injuries and found the victim at the scene with potentially life-threatening wounds.
