Two Pedestrians Killed, Four Seriously Injured in Crash on White Rose Way in Doncaster, England

Two pedestrians were killed and four other people were seriously injured in a multi-vehicle crash on White Rose Way in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, police said.

According to South Yorkshire Police, a black Mitsubishi L200 was travelling along White Rose Way when it struck four pedestrians before colliding with a black Audi and a silver BMW travelling in the opposite direction.

Two pedestrians were pronounced dead at the scene.

Four other people were taken to hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 30-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and driving while unfit.

He has since been released on bail while police continue investigating the crash in Doncaster, England.
