Two 14-year-olds arrested after boy stabbed on Peterborough field

Two 14-year-old boys have been arrested after another 14-year-old was stabbed on a playing field in Peterborough.

Officers were called to Bushfield, in Orton Goldhay, at about 16:00 BST on Monday.

The victim was taken to Peterborough City Hospital with serious injuries, which police said were not believed to be life-threatening.

A 14-year-old boy from Peterborough was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm (GBH), possession of a knife and theft. He remained in police custody.
