Inter vs Udinese: Inter Complete Stunning Comeback to Win 5-3

Inter Milan produced a spectacular comeback to defeat Udinese 5-3 at San Siro after falling two goals behind inside the opening 16 minutes.

Udinese stunned the home crowd when James Abankwah headed the visitors into the lead in the ninth minute before Jurgen Ekkelenkamp doubled the advantage seven minutes later.

Inter responded quickly.

Carlos Augusto pulled one back in the 26th minute before Nicolò Barella equalized nine minutes later, sending the teams into halftime level at 2-2.

Inter took control after the break, with Marcus Thuram completing the comeback in the 57th minute.

Francesco Pio Esposito added Inter’s fourth goal in the 67th minute before Ange-Yoan Bonny made it 5-2 with 11 minutes remaining.

Idrissa Gueye scored a late third goal for Udinese, but it was not enough to threaten Inter’s victory.

The result keeps Inter’s perfect Serie A start intact with 12 points from four matches, level with Roma at the top of the table.
