Man charged with attempted murder after being accused of June shooting on North Clinton Ave

A 36-year-old man is facing various charges after Rochester Police say he shot a man back in June.

The investigation started on June 6 when police say they got a report of a walk-in shooting victim at Rochester General Hospital.

Officers responded and found the victim, a man in his 30s, with multiple non-life threatening gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Investigators say they learned that the victim was sitting in his car outside of a grocery store on North Clinton Avenue when the suspect, Jaquawn Johnson, came up to him and fired multiple shots into his car, hitting the victim.
