1 injured after shooting at Pontiac youth football game

A youth football game in Pontiac was disrupted Sunday afternoon when a shooting broke out following a verbal altercation between two men, authorities said.

The shooting happened at Wisner Stadium, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said the two men were involved in a verbal argument that escalated into gunfire.

One man was injured and taken to a hospital, while the other was taken into police custody.
