Woman arrested for DUI after crashing into lake, state troopers say
A woman is facing a DUI charge after state troopers say she drove through a guardrail and fence and into a lake in Seminole County.

The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Maitland Avenue and Lake Shore Drive in Altamonte Springs, troopers say.
Florida Highway Patrol says 26-year-old Qualana Pickard, identified by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office, was driving south on Maitland Avenue when she ran off the road.
Pickard hit a guardrail and fence before entering the lake, according to troopers.
FHP says she was able to swim to safety and went to AdventHealth Altamonte Springs with minor injuries.
Troopers say The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office later arrested Pickard, as her vehicle was removed from the water.
