Man Killed in Rockville Shooting Early Sunday Morning — MCPD Update

An adult man was killed in a shooting in the 1000 block of Seven Locks Rd in Rockville early Sunday morning, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD).

MCPD shared that at approximately 2:02am on September 13, Montgomery County Police 1st District officers, Rockville City Police officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the location for a report of a shooting.

Officers located a man with serious injuries and immediately began rendering aid. Despite lifesaving efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one is in custody, and no suspect information is available, according to police. MCPD’s Major Crimes Division Homicide Unit is investigating.
