Two people arrested after firing multiple guns in Fort Peirce neighborhood while drinking

Two Fort Pierce residents were arrested after deputies said they fired several types of guns while consuming alcohol Saturday night.

Arrest and charges

The St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the 5100 block of Happiness Street at approximately 9 p.m. following reports of people actively discharging firearms.

A witness told investigators that a man and woman were firing multiple weapons, including a shotgun, rifle and handguns.

Deputies determined the pair had been firing the weapons into the ground, according to the sheriff’s office.

Investigators also learned that both had allegedly consumed alcohol before and during the incident.

The sheriff’s office identified them as Tiffany Rose Lindo and Jacob Roibert Mills, both 25 and from Fort Pierce.

No injuries were reported. The SLCSO took to Facebook Sunday morning to say "A BAD COMBINATION, A WORSE DECISION: Firearms and alcohol.

Charges and court proceedings

Lindo and Mills were each arrested on charges of discharging a firearm in a public or residential area and using a firearm while under the influence of alcohol.
