Measles Outbreak in Pennsylvania Grows with Nearly 700 Cases in 37 Counties

The Pennsylvania Department of Health (DOH) has confirmed 676 measles cases across 37 counties so far in 2026, marking a continued push in the state’s response to the ongoing outbreak.

To track community transmission and access resources, residents can view real-time data on the state’s dashboard at pa.gov/measles.

Only four vaccinated individuals—three adults and one child in Centre, Jefferson, Lancaster, and Lycoming counties—have contracted the virus. None required hospitalization.

DOH staff have administered nearly 4,300 MMR doses across 130 pop-up clinics since April, contributing to over 6,300 total doses given at State Health Centers this year.
