Bradenton, Florida man already jailed in stabbing charged with murder in woman’s death

A Bradenton man already jailed in connection with the stabbing of a 15-year-old boy is now charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 44-year-old woman, according to Manatee County homicide detectives.

Detectives charged Quazone Elijawun Taylor, 34, in the death of Starr Lashua, 44.

Taylor was served with the murder warrant Thursday at the Manatee County Jail, where detectives said he was being held on an attempted murder charge involving the teenager.

Investigators said Taylor stabbed the 15-year-old multiple times on Aug. 18. Detectives arrested him Aug. 24.
