Anderson, Indiana stabbing: Former New Castle resident Charged

A former New Castle resident has been charged with stabbing a recently released prison inmate in an Anderson hotel room.

Brittany Kathleen Rye, 35 — now listed in court documents at an address in Flint, Michigan — is charged in Madison Circuit Court 3 with domestic battery with a deadly weapon, a Level 5 felony carrying up to six years in prison.
