Lake City to host Bags for Bella fundraiser for Missaukee County, Michigan shooting victim

MISSAUKEE COUNTY, Mich., (/WGTU) — The Lake City community is coming together next month to support 13-year-old Bella Padilla-Everitt, who is recovering after being critically injured in a shooting in Missaukee County.

The Bags for Bella benefit will bring people together for cornhole, food and a live auction, with proceeds going directly toward Bella’s recovery.

The benefit is set for Oct. 4 at the Four Seasons event barn in Lake City.

Registration for the cornhole tournament begins at 12:30 p.m., with bags flying at 1 p.m.
