Juveniles arrested after stealing DoorDash McDonald s, breaking into cars in Valdosta, Georgia

– A late-night DoorDash alert led to the arrests of four juveniles after a Valdosta resident looked out his window and saw suspects breaking into vehicles and eating his McDonald’s delivery.
Arrest and charges
Valdosta police officers responded to the 1700 block of Springhill Place at 2:45 a.m. Sept.
8, 2026, after a report of juveniles who appeared to be breaking into vehicles.
The victim told officers the juveniles broke into his vehicle and stole his DoorDash delivery of McDonald’s.
As officers arrived, they saw several subjects running from the area. After a short foot pursuit, officers apprehended a 16-year-old juvenile.
Officers then searched the area and found a 13-year-old juvenile hiding in a wooded area and a 15-year-old juvenile hiding in a trash dumpster.
Police took all three into custody and said they found evidence connecting the juveniles to at least two vehicles that were broken into.
Charges and court proceedings
All three were charged with two counts of theft by entering autos, financial transaction card theft, curfew violation, obstruction of an officer and theft by taking.
