Free clinic in Hoosick Falls vaccinates 78 pets in response to parvovirus outbreak

A free clinic in Hoosick Falls vaccinated nearly 80 pets after a parvo outbreak and a police seizure of sick dogs from a home.

The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society said it provided free vaccines to 73 dogs and five cats during a community clinic Tuesday.

The clinic was organized after police seized seven dogs and puppies from a Center Street home.

Police said two people were arrested after infected puppies were sold and two dogs died.
