Shooter fled scene after shooting in Elizabethton, Tennessee Thursday, police say

A shooter fled the scene after shooting a juvenile in Elizabethton on Thursday, according to Elizabethton police.

According to Elizabethton Police Chief Jason Shaw, the juvenile is awake, and the injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

It was added that the shooting happened on South Lynn Avenue. Authorities are on the scene now; News 5 will update when any additional information is released.
