Mexican Tenor Joaquín Ledesma Marquina has Died, Aged 55

Paramedics were unable to revive Marquina when he lost consciousness on stage during a performance

The Mexican tenor Joaquín Ledesma Marquina has passed away after he collapsed while performing in a tribute concert to the Spanish singer Rocío Dúrcal at the Querétaro Arts Center.

Paramedics arrived at the scene, but were unable to resuscitate Marquina.

While the cause of death was not confirmed, Marquina’s family say the tenor had a history of heart disease and had previously suffered four heart attacks.
