Pets rescued from house following explosion, fire in Lisbon, Maine

A house caught fire after a reported explosion in Lisbon. Crews were called to the home on Bauer Street just after 11 a.m.

Wednesday, according to Lisbon Fire. Firefighters were able to control the fire eventually but it took about an hour due to limited daytime staffing, officials said.

No injuries were reported. A cat and parrot were rescued from the home.
