Grass fire causes power outage for over 2,000 in Germantown, Tennessee; multiple traffic lights out

More than 2,000 Germantown businesses and residents are without power Thursday morning after a grass fire triggered multiple transformer explosions.

According to Memphis Light, Gas and Water, just over 2,000 customers are currently affected.

Germantown police report several traffic signals are dark and urge drivers to avoid the following intersections while the Germantown Fire Department works to extinguish the blaze:
