Residents to experience temporary power outage in Tupper Lake, New York

Some Tupper Lake residents will experience a temporary power outage Friday morning.

The Village of Tupper Lake Municipal Electric Department said it will perform “essential system repairs” from 9 a.m. until noon.

Residents who live in the area near the Tupper Lake Health Center and the St. Alphonsus cemetery are in the power outage zone.

The town noted that people who live near named streets may also be without power during the 9 a.m. to noon window because those homes are connected to an extension line.
